Terraced rice fields in the Bansho district of Kikuka, known for red spider lilies and chosen as one of Japan's 100 best terraced fields. Around mid-September, when the lilies bloom, the yellow ears of rice and red flowers contrast; old houses and stone walls show a nostalgic Japanese countryside.
