Minamioguni, Kumamoto / 押戸石の丘
Oshitoishi Hill
A hill near the Mazeno Gorge in Minamioguni, said to have been a place of prayer for ancient people. Stones that seem to have been placed deliberately are scattered around - a pyramid-shaped "great rock", the "mirror stone" carved with Sumerian letters and the "scissor stone" said to have served as a sundial - with a 360-degree panorama.
