A hot spring town with over 100 years of history, said to have been visited by writers such as Natsume Soseki and Yosano Tekkan and Akiko. In an area you can walk around are more than 130 sources, 7 public baths and about 17 inns and hotels, each with its own source and fresh free-flowing water.
