Uriwari Falls (Wakasa Uriwari Meisui Park)
"Uriwari Falls", one of Japan's 100 best waters, named because the water is so cold it could split a melon. The surrounding forest, with light filtering through trees and moss on the rocks, is magical, and the park has 10,000 hydrangeas, cherries and maples for the seasons.
