Takei Kannon Cape (northernmost point of Shikoku)
The northernmost point of the Shikoku mainland, in the grounds of Takei Kannonji. Along the seaside approach beyond the temple is a rock cave, the inner sanctuary, where Ikoma Chikamasa enshrined a Bato Kannon as guardian of the north-east of Takamatsu Castle, built in 1590. The cape is also called "Kannonzaki" or "Takei-misaki".
