SCMAGLEV and Railway Park
A museum showing the progress of high-speed railway technology through 39 real vehicles, centred on the Tokaido Shinkansen, from steam locomotives and conventional trains to the superconducting maglev. The railway diorama themed "24 hours of the railway" recreates the scenery along the Tokaido Shinkansen in detail. JR Central's superconducting maglev is shown with a real record-setting vehicle and explanations of how it floats and moves, and you can try a simulated 500 km/h ride. You can also go inside the vehicles (except some).
