Miyoshi, Tokushima / 奥祖谷二重かずら橋
Oku-Iya Double Vine Bridges
Vine bridges said to have been built about 800 years ago by the Heike clan to go to training at Mt. Tsurugi and the "Heike riding ground". Made of shirakuchi-kazura vines growing wild in the high mountains, they lead to the Oku-Iya Kazurabashi campsite; because two bridges hang side by side, they are also called "the man bridge and the woman bridge".
