Admission

Adults 700 yen, high school 400, elementary and junior high 200 (groups of 30+: 630 / 360 / 180; 100+: 560 / 320 / 160). Half price for disability-certificate holders and one companion.

Getting there

0.7 km, about 7 min on foot from JR Hiraizumi Station (the FAQ says 10 min). Ichinoseki to Hiraizumi 9 min by train. By car about 10 min from Hiraizumi-Maesawa IC, 15 min from Ichinoseki IC, 5 min from Hiraizumi Smart IC (ETC only).

Parking

Next-door town car park (paid, 330 spaces, 8:30-17:00, open every day): cars 300 yen, microbuses 600, coaches 750, motorbikes 50. About 100 m (2 min) to the temple. Bicycle parking at the gate.
