Shikokuchuo, Ehime / 道の駅 霧の森
Michi-no-Eki Kiri no Mori
A roadside station across a red truss bridge over the clear Umatate River, with a confectionery workshop selling local Shingu tea and the "Kiri no Mori Daifuku", a tea café, a Shingu tea tasting corner, a restaurant with tea soba and fresh oboro tofu, a hot spring and cottages. The matcha daifuku, filled with red-bean paste and cream in rice cake kneaded with Shingu matcha, is its most popular souvenir.
