Kibitsu Shrine
A shrine with legends of Kibitsuhiko-no-Mikoto and Ura, said to be the origin of the Momotaro (ogre-slaying) tale; you can see the Yaoki-iwa rock where the arrows are said to have been placed and the Okamaden where the ogre's head is said to be buried. The main hall and worship hall rebuilt in 1425 are in the Kibitsu style, the only one of its kind in Japan, and are National Treasures; the beautiful 360 m corridor from the main hall is a historic structure worth seeing.
