Takeshi Kawashima Art Factory
The studio and museum of Takeshi Kawashima, who returned in 2016 after 53 years working in New York. At the foot of Goshikidai with a view of the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, it is a former factory that made parts for medical equipment, where the feel of the factory meets Kawashima's works. The exhibits include his Red & Black series, part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and a corner shows his collection of African art gathered while living in SoHo.
