Ikoma Kogen Plateau
A plateau of about 90,000 m² against the Kirishima mountains, about 20 minutes by car from JR Kobayashi Station on the way to Ebino Kogen, looking down on the farmland of the Nishimoro basin. From mid-April about 150,000 California and Iceland poppies bloom, hydrangeas in June, red-tinted kochia from mid-September and about 1 million cosmos from early October; there is a café and a dog run.
