Hirome Market
A market in central Kochi in the style of a food-stall village, with about 60 shops, where you can enjoy Kochi food such as seared bonito (katsuo no tataki) side by side with locals. Food and goods shops are gathered in one place: buy dishes from the shops and eat at any seat at the shared tables. It is not just for tourists; local people use it every day, and strangers at the next seat often start chatting.
