Harazuru Onsen
A hot spring area spreading along the Chikugo River, said to be named after cranes seen bathing in the riverbed long ago. Besides the hot springs it can be enjoyed all year: cherry blossoms in spring, cormorant fishing and Kyoho grape picking in summer, and autumn leaves and persimmon picking in autumn.
