Chikyu no Maruku Mieru Oka Observatory
An observatory on the summit of Mt. Atago, the highest point in northeastern Chiba. From the 360-degree rooftop deck 90 m above sea level, the horizon is famous for looking curved at both ends; you can see the Kashima coast, Mt. Tsukuba, Kujukuri beach and Byobugaura, and on clear days Mt. Fuji. The 1st floor has local souvenirs and the 3rd floor a lounge cafe.
