Apple Line (Route 18)
A major apple-growing area even within Nagano, famous for apples, where orchards spread all around. Apple orchards line both sides of National Route 18, with apple stands and farms offering apple picking, hence the nickname "Apple Line"; in the harvest season you can buy fresh apples and pick them yourself.
