Yokohama, Kanagawa / 山下公園
Yamashita Park
Yokohama's representative waterfront park, where you can watch the Bay Bridge and the ships in the harbour. The luxury liner Hikawa Maru, once called "Queen of the North Pacific", is moored here, and the park is famous for roses. Built on rubble from the Great Kanto Earthquake, it has many monuments such as the "Girl with Red Shoes" statue.
