Tenkaiho Observatory
An observatory 165 m high with a 180-degree panorama of the Kujukushima Islands and Sasebo Port below, the most popular of Sasebo's observatories. By day the islands' sea sparkles, and in the evening the sun sets over them; in the park below rape blossoms bloom in spring (late March-early April) and 150,000 cosmos in autumn (mid-late October).
