Mugi, Tokushima / 出羽島
Teba Island
A small island about 4 km around, about 15 minutes offshore from Mugi Port by ferry. A traditional fishing-village townscape from the early modern era to the Showa period remains, selected as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Not a single car runs on the island, and time passes slowly.
