Iyo, Ehime / JR下灘駅
JR Shimonada Station
A small station with a pastel-coloured building in harmony with its surroundings; the Iyo Sea spreads out right in front of it, and it is popular as a station people want to get off at once. Famous among railway fans, it has appeared in many films and dramas and on posters for JR's Seishun 18 ticket. By day the sea sparkles in the sunlight, and at dusk it shines gold in the setting sun.
