Kazo, Saitama / 三県境
Three-Prefecture Border Point
An administrative border point in a rice field about 500 m south-east of Roadside Station Kazo-Watarase, where Tochigi City (Tochigi), Itakura (Gunma) and Kazo (Saitama) meet. It used to lie in the Watarase River, but river works from the Meiji to Taisho periods moved the channel; a 2016 survey found a concrete post at the point where three waterways meet and confirmed it as the border.
