Omogo Gorge
A gorge spreading at the foot of Mt. Ishizuchi, a nationally designated place of scenic beauty, changing its face with the seasons. The river is so clear that you can see the bottom from the walking paths. There are two paths: the main-stream route with many sights such as Goshiki-gawara, Momiji-kogen and Toragataki falls, and the quiet Teppo route along the Teppo River. With many trees that turn colour, it is very busy at the peak in early November.
