Getting there

Get off buses at "Yakeyama": JR Bus Tohoku "Mizuumi" from Aomori Station (about 2 hours), Towada Kanko Dentetsu bus from Towada-shi Chuo (about 50 min), or JR Bus "Oirase" from Hachinohe Station (about 1.5 hours; reservation required). By car: about 1.5 hours from Shin-Aomori Station, 1 hr 10 min from Misawa Airport, 45 min from Shichinohe-Towada Station, 1 hour from Hachinohe Station.
