Lighthouse visits: mornings 9:00-12:00. Afternoons: Apr 4 - Oct 15, 13:00-16:30 on weekends and holidays (incl. Golden Week, Aug 10-19 and Dec 29 - Jan 3) and 13:00-16:00 on weekdays; Oct 16 - Nov 8, 13:00-16:00. Last entry 20 min before closing.

Admission

Visit donation 300 yen (junior high and above). Free for elementary school age and younger, and for holders of a disability certificate plus one companion.

Getting there

From JR Oga Station, Akita Kotsu bus (Oga-Kita Line) to Yumoto Chuzaisho-mae, then the Oga City Nyudozaki Line (reservation required) to Nyudozaki (about 1 hr 10 min), then 3 min on foot; the bus stop sign says "入道岬". The "Namahage Shuttle" from Oga Station takes about 60 min. By car about 1 hour from Showa-Oga-Hanto IC or Hachiryu IC.
