A zelkova-wood inn with over 600 years of hot-spring history and four baths fed straight from the source, including the 1.25 m-deep "Shirozaru-no-yu" where you bathe standing.

Day bathing 10:00-21:00 (last entry 20:00); baths are cleaned one by one from 10:00. On Saturdays and days before holidays, day-bathing entry may be suspended from 14:00 to 17:00 (call to check).

Adults 800 yen, children 600 yen (1,100 / 900 yen during Golden Week, Obon, New Year and similar periods). Face towels are sold. Bath and lunch (11:00-13:00) 1,650 yen.

14 km (20 min) from Hanamaki-Minami IC; 19 km (25 min) from JR Hanamaki Station; 27 km (35 min) from Shin-Hanamaki Station or Iwate Hanamaki Airport. A shuttle bus via Shin-Hanamaki and Hanamaki stations runs by reservation (100 yen each way from September 1).
