Seki, Gifu / 名もなき池（通称：モネの池）
Nameless Pond ("Monet's Pond")
A pond in the grounds of Nemichi Shrine in Itadori, Seki, where water lilies bloom in very clear spring water and colourful carp swim; its colours change with the angle and season, like Claude Monet's "Water Lilies". Originally an irrigation pond, not built for tourists, it became a talking point on social media. Spring water keeps it from freezing even in winter.
