Michi-no-Eki Amaharashi
On the Amaharashi Coast, chosen as one of Japan's 100 best beaches, where on clear days you can see the Tateyama range across the sea, stands this pure-white modern building said to be modelled on a ship. The 1st floor has an information corner, the 2nd a cafe, shop and observation deck, and the 3rd a multi-purpose room and observation deck. From the deck and cafe you can also watch Himi Line trains running with the sea behind, and the information corner and decks are open 24 hours.
