Meimei-an Tea House
A tea house said to have been built to the taste of Matsudaira Harusato (Fumai), on a hill overlooking Matsue Castle. The tea room and Izumo-style garden reflect Fumai's wish that visitors truly relax, and the plaque "Meimei-an" on the thatched roof is in his own hand. In the tea room facing the garden you can have matcha with sweets linked to Fumai.
