Matsue Vogel Park
A "paradise of flowers and birds" on the hills by Lake Shinji, where begonias and fuchsias bloom everywhere. You can meet many birds, watch owl flight shows and the popular penguin walk, and see Lake Shinji from the observation deck. The park is all-weather and barrier-free, with three bird greenhouses, a flower greenhouse and covered walkways, so it can be enjoyed even in bad weather.
