Lake Sayama (Yamaguchi Reservoir)
An artificial lake on the border of Tokorozawa and Iruma, completed in 1934 as a reservoir for Tokyo; its official name is Yamaguchi Reservoir. The surroundings are Sayama Prefectural Natural Park, with 20,000 cherry trees in spring, autumn leaves, Mt. Fuji and trees reflected on the lake, and birdwatching.
