An aquarium attached to Kyoto University's Seto Marine Biological Laboratory, with Japan's leading collection of invertebrates such as corals, shrimps, crabs and starfish; fish are also shown in a 250-tonne tank and a sunlit tank, and its academically rich content is popular.
