Kyoto Railway Museum
A museum opened on April 29, 2016 (Heisei 28) that presents the history, technology and culture of railways around the theme "see, touch, experience". It has one of Japan's largest railway dioramas, driving simulators, the fan-shaped engine shed (Important Cultural Property), and the "SL Steam" ride in carriages pulled by a real steam locomotive.
