Izu Shaboten Zoo
A park at the foot of Mt. Omuro with about 1,500 kinds of cacti and succulents and about 140 kinds of animals. You can see capybaras, kangaroos and squirrel monkeys up close, tour the islands in the pond on the guided "Animal Boat Tours", and see the original "capybara open-air bath".
