Admission

Adults 1,300 yen; junior and senior high school students 600 yen; elementary school children 400 yen; preschool children free. When special exhibitions are being changed: 900 / 500 / 300 yen. Free for holders of a physical, intellectual or mental disability certificate and one companion (show it at reception).

Getting there

About 12 min on foot (about 1 km) from JR Ishinomaki Station. Highway bus from Sendai Station to Ishinomaki Station takes about 70 min.

Parking

No museum car park. The city's Kawamachi multi-storey car park across the river is free for 2 hours; the Nakaze Park Yawatacho lot (43 spaces, 9:00-18:30) is free. There are a few parking spaces for people with disabilities near the museum.
