Inokashira Park
A green park in Kichijoji, loved by local people, with recreation facilities, a shrine and a pond. You can rent rowing boats on Inokashira Pond in the centre, and in spring the pond is ringed with cherry blossoms. In its woods, which keep the feel of old Musashino, is the Inokashira Park Zoo (main zoo and aquatic life garden), and the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka is also in the park (advance booking required).
