- Getting there
15 min on foot from Maruyama-Koen Station (Tozai subway line), or 1 min from the "Hokkaido Jingu" JR bus stop. From JR Sapporo Station take the subway (change from the Namboku to the Tozai Line at Odori) to Maruyama-Koen, or about 15 min by taxi.

For visitors coming by car the shrine gives "9:00 until the gate closes on normal days" (from 6:30 on January 2-3 and 7:00 on January 4-7). The Minami-Ichijo car park has restrictions for tour buses on event days (no fee listed).
