Hitome Hakkei (Yabakei)
Said to be especially scenic even within Yabakei, a place of scenic beauty: along the Yamautsuri River, a tributary of the Yamakuni River, you can see eight views at once - Kaibo-rei, Sennin-iwa, Shoen-zan, Meoto-iwa, Gun-en-zan, Eboshi-iwa, Ojika-nagao-rei and Washinosu-yama - hence the name "Hitome Hakkei" (eight views at a glance). In the autumn-leaf season the streams and rock faces turn red and yellow.
