Sennichimae Doguyasuji Shopping Street
A 150 m shopping street 3 minutes from Namba Station, packed with specialist shops for food samples, lanterns, illuminated signs, tableware and kitchen tools, always busy with visitors from Japan and abroad. It began in Meiji 15 (1882) as a pilgrimage route lined with second-hand and sundry shops; its range of tools for takoyaki, okonomiyaki and other flour dishes is said to be the best in Japan.
