Cape Zanpa
A cape jutting out on the west side of central Okinawa Island, with 30 m cliffs continuing for about 2 km. At its tip stands the white Zanpa Misaki Lighthouse, and walking paths around it let you see subtropical coastal plants such as pandanus. On clear days you can see the Kerama Islands, and it is known as the last place on the main island where the sun sets; the "Zanpa Misaki Ikoi no Hiroba" marked by a giant shisa has play equipment, a mini zoo, a restaurant and a shop.
