Anan, Tokushima / 蒲生田岬
Cape Kamoda
The easternmost point of Shikoku, with a superb view from the lighthouse; on clear days you can see as far as the Onaruto Bridge, Awaji Island and Wakayama Prefecture. The stone monument "Nami no Uta" (Song of the Waves), with motifs of waves and wind, was set up in September 2010, and through its heart-shaped opening you can see Ishima Island and the horizon.
