Aoshima Shrine
A shrine in the middle of Aoshima, an island said to be entirely shrine grounds, reached across the Yayoi Bridge. It is a setting of the famous myth of Umisachihiko and Yamasachihiko. Beyond the "Inori no Kodo", a tunnel of votive tablets, stands the Motomiya (original shrine) surrounded by Chinese fan palms, where rituals are said to have been held since around the Yayoi period.
