Akiyoshido Cave
A limestone cave 100 m under Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park, a Special Natural Monument. The temperature inside is a constant 17 degrees C all year, cool in summer and warm in winter. With a total length of over 10 km it is among the largest in Japan; the approx. 1 km sightseeing course shows many natural forms, including the rice-terrace-like "Hyakumaizara". An adventure course (extra fee) has you climbing ladders with a flashlight.
