Admission

Special exhibition "Hyper-realism: Masterpieces from the Hoki Museum" (Aug 4 - Sep 27, 2026): adults 1,300 yen (groups 1,000), seniors 70+ and university students 1,000 yen (groups 700), high school and under free; adults 60+ pay 1,000 yen; groups are 20+. Holders of a disability certificate and one companion get 500 yen off (Mirairo ID accepted). The museum's regular fee table currently says "not applied". According to the prefecture's tourism site, the regular fee is 310 yen for adults (groups 250), 210 yen for university students (groups 170), free for high school and under, and free for people with disabilities and one carer.

10 min on foot from JR Akita Station. About 40 min by bus from Akita Airport to Akita Station. About 10 min by car from Akita-Chuo IC (Akita Expressway).
