Tottori Folk Crafts Museum
A museum showing new folk crafts produced by Yoshida Shoya, a Tottori doctor devoted to the mingei movement advocated by Yanagi Soetsu, and old folk crafts he collected from Japan, Korea, China and the West. From the storehouse-style exterior to details such as handrails and switch covers, the spirit of mingei runs through it; it is a registered Tangible Cultural Property.
