Shiramizu Amidado Hall, Ganjoji Temple
A late-Heian Amida hall set in a Pure Land garden, said to have been built by Fujiwara no Kiyohira's daughter; it is the only building in Fukushima designated a National Treasure.

9:00-16:15 (gates close) in April-December, 9:00-15:45 in January-March. Last admission 30 min before closing.

Closed on the 4th Wednesday, February 3, the spring and autumn equinox days, August 12-18, August 24 and December 20-31. On January 1-3, August 5-6 and December 31 you can pray in front of the hall but not go inside. Occasional closures for events, typhoons or snow.
