Osugi Shrine
Called "Anba-sama", its lavish group of shrine buildings is said to be the "Nikko Toshogu of Ibaraki". The "Anba-bayashi" music, once called the "devil-dispelling music", spread across the Kanto region and is a nationally selected cultural property. The precinct shrine "Kachiuma Jinja" was long called "Barekisha" and protected horses; until the early Showa era horse races were held in the grounds every April 8, and with the JRA Miho Training Center nearby it draws many racing people and fans.
