An octagonal observation facility opened in 2018 on top of Nihondaira, designed by Kengo Kuma with Shizuoka timber; its 200 m gallery gives 360-degree views of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, Miho no Matsubara and the Izu Peninsula. Free entry.
