Takayama, Gifu / 中橋
Nakabashi Bridge
A bridge with vermilion railings over the Miyagawa River, loved as a symbol of Takayama; it was once a key point for defending Takayama Castle and the starting point of highways, and marks 100 years since it was rebuilt in Taisho 14. It is framed by cherry blossoms in spring and snow in winter, and lit up at night.
