Monet's Garden Marmottan (Kitagawa)
A recreation, in Kochi's nature, of the Giverny garden that Claude Monet created to paint and loved. About 100,000 plants grow over about 30,000 m², including the "Water Garden" with a lily pond and green arched bridge. It is the only garden in the world allowed by the foundation that manages Monet's garden in Giverny to use the name "Monet's Garden", and experts from the original garden visit regularly to advise on its care. There is also the "Bordighera Garden", recreating the scenery of Bordighera in Italy, where Monet travelled.
