A shopping street about 350 m long leading to Itsukushima Shrine, lined with folk craft and souvenir shops selling Miyajima rice paddles and Miyajima carvings, restaurants serving local specialities made with oysters and conger eel, and momiji manju shops, some of which sell them freshly baked.
